MCS certified installers, on the record.

Every business on this page is MCS certified. What changed when they moved their DNO submissions to CLRD, in their words, with the figures beneath them read from their own job records.

What those minutes produced

Every application below went out as a complete pack.

Not a form, and not a draft. You enter the job once, and CLRD works out which documents the DNO needs, then fills every one of them from that same data. A straightforward application runs to five documents. Add an export limit, an EV charger or a heat pump and the pack carries more, which adds seconds to the build, not minutes.

A generated pre-install application in CLRD, showing the time it was generated and submitted above the eight documents produced: cover letter, device schedule, EVCP and HP form, G100 Form A, G99 A1-1, letter of authority, site map and single line diagramEnlarge

01

Cover letter

A one page transmittal, so the context stays with the documents when the DNO files them away from the email.

02

The routed ENA form

A1-1 on the General Type A applications, A1-2 on the SGI-3. CLRD picks which, from the job data.

03

Single line diagram

Drawn from the same figures as the form, so the two cannot disagree.

04

Site boundary map

The property outlined with the meter pinned, as the location plan the DNO expects.

05

Letter of Authority

Signed by the customer, authorising the installer to deal with their network operator.

06

G100 declaration

Form A with the application where the job limits export or import, and Form C with the commissioning tests afterwards.

07

EVCP & HP form

The ENA demand-side form, on any job with an EV charge point, V2G charger or heat pump.

08

Device schedule

Added when the device list outgrows a form's printed table, so the list is never cut short.

Routed G99 General Type A. The aggregate capacity does not meet the SGI criteria, so this route needs the DNO's approval before installation.

Submitted Sunday. Approved Tuesday.

Submitted under Type A criteria. NGED chose Fast Track. Our part was giving them everything they needed to decide, first time.

A breath of fresh air.

CLRD is a breath of fresh air in an industry known for being paperwork heavy. I'm really happy with how much it's streamlined my processes, especially the boundary line and SLD features. Great product, and I'm looking forward to the features coming next. 10/10!

Very smooth.

Fantastic system that streamlines the whole process and makes it effortless. I really like how everything's in one place, rather than juggling multiple portals for different DNOs. Took three minutes for the first job, and I've just run another.

An essential tool of my business.

This is one of those bits of software that is now considered an essential tool of my business. It genuinely saves a ton of time and stress in the DNO application process, and I now won't do without it.

Forty-five minutes of re-typing, now seconds.

CLRD's Auto-DNO API pulls straight from our job data, so a G98/G99 submission that used to be 45 minutes of re-typing now takes literally seconds to generate the pack and submit. It's totally changed the way I work from my CRM.

Ten minutes to get two submitted.

I think it's great. Took me about 10 mins to get two submitted earlier today. We're very busy which is good, and CLRD is helping, so thank you.

What installers say

Reviews from across the network.

The multi technology submissions such as ASHP, solar and EV are so much easier now with CLRD. It works out the load and generation and totals, then routes via ENA thresholds in seconds, producing the right result every time. So far we have had first time approvals on our submissions with SSEN.

We at SolarVolt Energy Ltd have found this app literally saving us hours in admin completing and applying for DNO approval, in what can be a very torturous and slow process. The app is easy to navigate, intuitive, and keeps us automatically updated on progress. We are big fans!
