Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help a website work and help us understand how it is used. Some are essential; others, like analytics, are optional.

When you first visit clrd.uk you'll see a cookie banner. Analytics cookies only run if you choose Accept. If you choose Reject (or ignore the banner), no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered for 12 months, after which we ask again, and you can change it at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

One answer, both sites. This site and the CLRD app at clrd.app are one product on two domains, run by the same company and measured in the same analytics account. So your answer applies to both: follow a link from here to the app and your choice goes with you, which is why the app does not ask you a second time. It asks for itself if you arrive there any other way, and it has the same Cookie settings link for changing your mind. What the app measures is described in its own privacy notice.

Essential cookies. Needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice, and your choice of light or dark theme if you pick one, which stays in your own browser. These are always on and do not need consent.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent). We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are most useful. It sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id>. We also use Leadfeeder, which sets a cookie (_lfa) to recognise return visits and tell us which organisations visit the site. Both run only after you accept.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let other companies follow you around the rest of the web from here. Our analytics account is linked to Google Ads, so a demo booked on this site is counted as a conversion for our adverts, but advertising storage stays switched off: no advertising cookie is set for it. Our own analytics does join up a visit to clrd.uk with a visit to the CLRD app, so that the two read as one visit rather than two strangers, and that is the only place your visit is recognised.

You can control cookies through our banner and the Cookie settings link, or through your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working properly.
