Managed Jobs

Hand us the job.
We submit it in your name.

Completed, checked and submitted to the DNO in your name, then followed up until it's decided. Same or next working day, from £10 a submission, with no subscription and no job credits.

The service

We take the DNO off your desk.

Some jobs you'd rather not key in yourself. No time this week, an unfamiliar route, or a batch that all landed at once. Start a New Managed Job from the dashboard, or press Escalate to CLRD from any page of the wizard, even before you've entered anything. Either way it opens a chat thread with the team, and you upload the survey there with any photos or attachments. Tell us what you weren't sure about.

The CLRD team takes it from there. In house, nothing farmed out. From the moment it's submitted, the correspondence with the DNO comes to us. The thread stays open the whole way through, so you always have a direct line to whoever is running your job.

The pack comes out in one pass: the forms, the single line diagram, the letter of authority and the commissioning document. Elsewhere the diagram and the commissioning paperwork are separate charges. Here they're part of the job.

Your name and signature on the forms. The job sits in your account with its full history, same as one you ran yourself.

How it works

From free account to submitted.

  1. 01

    Open a free account

No card, no plan, no job credits. A free CLRD account is all it takes to hand a job over.

  2. 02

Add your company details and signature

One time setup. The forms go out in your name, so we need your details and your signature on file before the first one goes.

  3. 03

Start a job, or escalate one

New Managed Job from the dashboard, or Escalate to CLRD from any page of the wizard, even before you've typed a thing. Either way it opens a chat thread with the team. Upload the survey there with any photos or attachments, and flag anything you weren't sure about.

  4. 04

    We build the pack

We enter the job details, find the ENA type test references, set any export limit the job needs and draw the site boundary. CLRD routes it deterministically from there. Anything only you can answer, we ask you on the thread.

  5. 05

We submit it and take the DNO

Submitted in your name, same day where we've got what we need. From there the correspondence comes to us, and you follow every step on your dashboard.

  6. 06

    Pay per submission

The fee is fixed by the route, billed in arrears to a card you save once. Nothing charged when you hand the job over, and it doesn't touch any pack allowance.

Pricing

One fee. No add-ons.

A G98 notification elsewhere is £50. Ours is £10. A G99 in our size range runs £99 to £275, with the single line diagram charged on top at £50 to £99 and the commissioning document again after that. Ours is £50, both included. The gap is the engine: the route comes from the ENA thresholds rather than from someone working through your job by hand, so the expensive part is done before anyone picks it up. You don't work out which fee applies either. CLRD routes the job, and the fee follows the route.

CONNECT AND NOTIFY

£10/ submission

G98, G99 SGI-1, or an EV charge point or heat pump that meets the connect and notify criteria.

Submitted same or next working day.

APPLICATION

£50/ submission

G99 SGI-2, SGI-3 or General Type A, or an EV charge point or heat pump that has to apply before it connects.

Submitted same or next working day. The DNO then takes one to ten weeks depending on the route.

MIXED TECHNOLOGY

£75/ submission

Generation and load on one job. Solar or a battery alongside an EV charge point or heat pump.

Submitted same or next working day.

Where the whole job is connect and notify, mixed technology is charged at £10. A multi premise batch is priced per premises at its tier, less 50%. Billed in arrears. No subscription, no job credits used, nothing charged at hand over.

Questions

The details, straight.

Do I need a subscription?
No. Managed jobs need no plan and use none of a plan's pack allowance. A free CLRD account is enough. If you do subscribe, the two work side by side. Run the routine ones yourself, hand over the ones you'd rather not.
Whose name is on the forms?
Yours. The forms are completed and signed in your name and you stay the named installer on the application. The day to day correspondence comes to the CLRD team so you're not chasing it, and anything that needs you comes straight to you.
What do you need from me?
Whatever you have. A pasted survey and a few attachments is the normal case. Tell us what you weren't sure of. If something only you can answer, whoever is handling the job asks you on its message thread.
How fast is it?
Same day submission where we've got everything we need, next working day otherwise. Applications go just as quickly, then the wait is the DNO's assessment, usually one to ten weeks depending on the route, exactly as it would be if you'd sent it yourself.
How am I charged?
A card is saved once, when you first escalate. Nothing is charged at that point, and subscribers already have one on file. Each fee is fixed by its route and billed in arrears. No sign up fee, no minimum volume.
Can I change my mind?
Yes, any time before we pick it up. Once we're on it you follow every step on your dashboard, and everything on the job, documents, DNO correspondence and audit trail, is yours to read.
Can you take a whole batch?
Yes. One client, one system configuration, many premises. It escalates like any other job and is priced per premises at its tier, less 50%.
