Rules, not guesses
Routing follows the published ENA framework, not a language model. The logic is explicit, and it is auditable.
Platform
CLRD is a deterministic compliance engine for UK DNO applications: the same install data always produces the same route, the same SLD and the same audit ready pack. The platform was built that way from the foundation up. The assistant sits on top of it, never underneath, and cannot touch the routing. Here is how it is built, and why it holds up at audit.
The core idea
Every routing decision, every diagram and every reference is derived from your install data and the published DNO rules, not from a model. No hallucinated values, no surprises in the pack. The assistant can explain any of it and change none of it.
01
Routing follows the published ENA framework, not a language model. The logic is explicit, and it is auditable.
02
Every decision traces back to the exact install detail that drove it. Nothing is invented along the way.
03
The same inputs always produce the same route, SLD and pack. That repeatability is what auditors and insurers trust.
Always current
The ENA framework (G98, G99, G100) runs to around 700 pages and keeps changing. CLRD keeps its routing and reference data tied to the current regulations, so every job is routed against the rules in force and stays defensible at audit.
ROUTING
G98 and G99, including Fast Track
Decided deterministically per job from your install data, with G100 attached wherever export limiting applies.
EQUIPMENT
The ENA registers
Around 7,000 type tested inverters and battery units, single and three phase, plus the EV charge point and heat pump registers. Non type tested equipment is not supported.
DNO COVERAGE
All six GB DNO groups
UKPN, NGED, SSEN, NPg, ENWL and SPEN, plus virtually all IDNOs. Northern Ireland is not yet supported.
SCOPE
Domestic & small commercial
Up to 50 kW three phase or 17 kW single phase. Solar, battery, EV charge points and heat pumps, alone or combined on one job.
The output
Everything the engine does produces one thing: a complete DNO pack for the job. A DNO cover letter, the filled out G98, G99 or G100 forms, the ENA EVCP and HP Connections Form where the job includes a charger or heat pump, a device schedule, a generated single line diagram, a site boundary map, a Letter of Authority for the customer to sign, the loop impedance readings where the DNO asks for them, and the commissioning forms. Submit it from the platform or download it at the press of a button.

EnlargeProvable
Compliance is only worth anything if you can prove it later. CLRD records the chain as you work, so the evidence is already there when someone asks.
01
Immutably hashed
Every meaningful change is recorded and hashed, so the record cannot be altered without trace.
02
Who, what, when
Each event captures who did it, when, and with which inputs and outputs.
03
One clean export
A project's full audit trail exports as one continuous report, ready when a DNO or auditor asks.
Your data
01
UK cloud, encrypted
Held on UK based cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest.
02
Role based access
People see the slice of the workspace their role allows, nothing more.
03
You own it
CLRD processes your data on your behalf in line with UK data protection law and ICO guidance. Export it any time.
