Getting started

Your first job on CLRD.

A five step path from sign up to your first DNO submission.

  1. 01

    Create your account

Sign up at clrd.app and verify your email. Self serve, or we can set it up with you on a demo.

  2. 02

    Add your details

Your company, your team, and your MCS number if you have one. CLRD covers UK solar installs up to 50 kW three phase or 17 kW single phase.

  3. 03

    Create your first job

Enter the site and install details. CLRD walks you through every field and explains why it asks.

  4. 04

Let CLRD route and build the pack

It picks the right route (G98, G99, G100 or Fast Track), draws the SLD and assembles the pack, showing its reasoning.

  5. 05

    Review and submit

Check it over, submit by email straight from the platform or download it yourself, then track the status.

FAQ

Quick answers. No waiting on a call.

Do I need to be an MCS installer to use CLRD?+
No. CLRD works for any UK solar install within the G98/G99 small generation scope, up to 50 kW three phase or 17 kW single phase. It was designed by an MCS accredited installer, so it fits the way accredited installers actually work.
Which DNOs does CLRD cover?+
All the major UK DNOs, UKPN, NGED, SSEN, NPg, ENWL and SPEN, plus nearly all IDNOs. Routing is deterministic per region and per route (G98, G99, G100 and Fast Track).
Can I keep using my existing CRM?+
Yes. CLRD complements your workflow rather than replacing it, owning the compliance layer alongside your tools. There's nothing off the shelf, but for larger operators we build a bespoke API integration around your systems.
How long does onboarding take?+
Most installers just create an account and start the same day, self serve or set up with you on a demo. Larger companies we onboard in person, and enterprise API work runs alongside your tech team.
Is my data secure?+
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with role based access control. You own it and can export it at any time.
Do I need to know G98, G99 and G100 in detail?+
No. CLRD knows them. You bring the install details and it makes the routing decision, showing you the reasoning behind it.
How do I get help if I'm stuck?+
Email us, call, or message on WhatsApp. The details are on the contact page. Enterprise customers also get a named account contact.
