CLRD

The team

Built from the field,
engineered properly.

CLRD started with an installer who had lived the problem. Around it has grown a small team from engineering, electrical, governance and commercial backgrounds. Compliance is serious work and we treat it that way, but there is a person behind every submission and we try not to forget it.

Who we are

A small team, fast actioning.

Compliance software is not a numbers game. It needs people who understand the regulations, the engineering and the businesses running the jobs.

Andrew Goode, Founder at CLRD

Andrew Goode

Founder

Andrew founded CLRD Technologies after years working as an MCS certified solar installer, and continues to consult for Dorset Green Energy Ltd. That hands on experience with DNO submissions, G98, G99 and G100 routing, SLDs and export limitation paperwork shaped CLRD's core approach: compliance infrastructure built by someone who has done the admin himself, not designed from the outside looking in. Andrew leads CLRD's product direction and commercial strategy, focused on giving installers a faster, more reliable path from job completion to DNO approval.

Abe Heckenbach, Lead engineer and technical founder at CLRD

Abe Heckenbach

Lead engineer and technical founder

Twenty five years building and maintaining systems, from robust B2B and enterprise grade platforms to popular consumer apps and low level firmware, across Silicon Valley, government, startups and his own companies. Proficient in over twenty programming languages and modern security and infrastructure standards. A degree in mathematics and linguistics, and a programmer since the age of ten. His company GeoMagik has shipped Pocket Earth since 2011, built years ahead of its time and still unmatched in its category.

Stephen Higgins, Technical advisor, electrical at CLRD

Stephen Higgins

Technical advisor, electrical

Thirty years as an electrical engineer, and a director of an MCS accredited solar company of his own. Stephen is who CLRD goes to when an electrical question needs a definitive answer, keeping the platform honest against how installations actually get wired, tested and commissioned in the field rather than how a specification reads on paper.

Ange Jones, Client relationships manager at CLRD

Ange Jones

Client relationships manager

Ange supports the business in a non executive director capacity, bringing strategic insight and governance expertise gained across the public and voluntary sectors. She builds high level client relationships and drives meaningful engagement, and applies that experience to CLRD's governance, informed decision making and long term resilience.

TJ

Tim Jones

Marketing manager

Extensive experience across sales, marketing and business development, having worked with major household names including Netflix, Sky Sports and TalkTalk. Tim connects marketing with real commercial results, building relationships and creating opportunities, and brings both sides of that equation to CLRD's growth and visibility.

Richard Regan, Sales manager at CLRD

Richard Regan

Sales manager

Richard works directly with installers and operators to understand how their businesses actually run, where compliance costs them time, and what a platform has to do before it earns a place in the workflow.

Talk to the people who built it.

Bring one of your own jobs and we'll walk through it together. You'll be speaking to someone on this page, not a call centre or a handover.
